Job Summary
As Senior Communications and Media Manager, you oversee all public-facing written content in both official languages and support leading the marketing team. You ensure brand consistency across key communication materials, including web content, speeches, news releases, media pitches, and promotional documents. You coordinate with external partners to align messaging and contribute to joint communications efforts. In collaboration with the Head of Communications and Growth, you identify and execute opportunities to enhance AquaAction’s brand visibility. You maintain media lists through HubSpot CRM and cultivate relationships with reporters. Working with the Director of IT, you manage media releases, monitor relevant news, and ensure website sections related to media are current. You are responsible for our newsletters, in coordination with the business development team. You position AquaAction’s leadership as thought leaders in water governance and technology while supporting business development teams with communication needs. Your work will help to advance AquaAction's mission to empower innovators and entrepreneurs to develop and deploy cutting-edge water technologies that drive sustainable solutions for water security. Skills Required:
- Strong writing and editing skills in both official languages
- Leadership in managing and overseeing communication teams

- Strategic execution of brand-building opportunities and public relations efforts
- Maintenance of media relationships and reporter engagement
- Knowledge of branding guidelines and content consistency across platforms
- Website content oversight and media-related updates
- Expertise in positioning thought leadership in the water technology space
- Collaboration with business development teams to align communication strategies
