Digital Marketing and Communications Lead (Bilingual Imperative)


Summary:
As Digital Marketing and Communications Lead, you are leading the interface with public audiences about AquaAction’s mission to improve the management of our freshwater resources. With the support of the communications team, you are responsible for AquaAction digital platforms, optimizing content to engage social media audiences, and facilitating creative brainstorming efforts for new content. You track analytics, share insights with the team, maintain a posting schedule, and ensure flexibility to pivot towards emerging priorities. You stay ahead of long-term communication priorities, ensuring content aligns with marketing needs and key narratives. Collaborating with other team members, including the Storytelling coordinator, you maintain high-quality, error-free content that follows approval processes. AquaAction will support your professional development, including relevant training to ensure you are up-to-date on major digital platforms, like Meta, Google and LinkedIn. You engage with audiences, fostering discussions and tracking trends to enhance content relevance. Additionally, you oversee paid advertising budgets and work with the Director of IT to optimize CRM software and online tools. Your work will help to advance AquaAction's mission to empower innovators and entrepreneurs to develop and deploy cutting-edge water technologies that drive sustainable solutions for water security.


Skill Requirements:

  • Expertise in social media management and content optimization
  • Strong writing skills and ability to engage audiences in both official languages
  • Experience in content creation (shareables, videos) following an overarching strategy
  • Ability to analyze digital performance reports and provide insights for content creation
  • Generating content schedules and coordinating team meetings for advanced planning
  • Support the webpage updates and editing process
  • Familiarity with CRM software (HubSpot) and collaboration with IT teams
  • Knowledge of branding guidelines and coordination with graphic design services
  • Managing digital advertising campaigns, including budget and performance
  • Capacity to monitor industry trends and flag relevant content for reposting
  • Managing digital advertising campaigns
