A Strategic Lever for Quebec

Water has no economic substitute, regardless of price. Yet, paradoxically, it remains undervalued, wasted, and polluted. Today, water innovation represents a major strategic opportunity for Quebec to create lasting, transformative economic value.

Quebec's water challenges are numerous: massive consumption, significant losses, contamination, and aging infrastructure. These issues translate into costs of nearly $197.6 billion* for the replacement of high- and very-high-risk water infrastructure in Quebec, confirming the urgency of innovative and sustainable approaches.

Launched in 2022,  AquaEntrepreneur Québec has proven its ability to turn water challenges into concrete economic opportunities for Quebec SMEs. Offering tailored support, the program is designed to transform innovative solutions into tangible commercial success, strengthening Quebec's leadership position in water technology.
