One Young World 2024

ABOUT THE EVENT
Under the theme of accelerating social impact, the One Young World 2024 Summit will gather the brightest 2,000 young leaders from over 190 countries and 250 organizations in Montreal (Tiohtià:ke). The Summit offers significant opportunities to build global networks, promote leadership, and develop professional skills.
Six AquaAction Ambassadors will join other delegates in four transformative days of speeches, workshops, and networking. They will be counselled by influential political, business, and humanitarian leaders. After the Summit, delegates graduate as One Young World Ambassadors, returning to their workplaces and communities with the means and motivation to make a difference.

ABOUT US
Founded in 2015, AquaAction is a registered charity in Canada and the United States, focused on revitalizing freshwater health. From ideation to commercialization, AquaAction helps develop talent, launch promising water-related startups, and scale innovative enterprises through two programs:
- AquaHacking Challenge: This startup launch program is an annual competition that empowers the next generation of young innovators to develop technological solutions targeting critical freshwater issues, thereby enhancing their entrepreneurial and climate leadership skills.

AquaEntrepreneur: This scale-up program helps entrepreneurs implement and scale their water-tech solutions in the municipal and private sectors across North America and beyond.
