[Alumni: The Green Stop, AH ’19] AquaHacking sponsor Sanexen supports attendance of 2019 alumni at water symposium in Montreal
On Tuesday and Wednesday, October 22-23, 2019, the Symposium on the Management of Water 2019 | Montreal took place in the Plaza Centre-Ville. As the presenting sponsor, Sanexen, also a sponsor of AquaHacking, supported the 42nd edition of this event organized by Reseau Environnement.
The event brought together more than 350 participants from the municipal and professional sectors of drinking water, wastewater and stormwater sectors, as well as businesses, researchers, and consultants. This event also involved the Quebec chapters of the American Water Works Association (AWWA) and the Water Environment Federation (WEF).
Thanks to the general support of Sanexen, Rachel Labbé-Bellas, the leader of the team The Green Stop that won the top prize in the AquaHacking 2019, was able to attend the Symposium. Rachel benefited from the networking and learning opportunities about drinking water systems from both private and municipal treatments. She was able to clarify any doubts about municipal protocols for her client experience, explored different vendors for equipment and learned about online green hiring platforms for future company hires.
